I think I'll sleep now...

My brother got in late on Thursday, so we gave the girls their goodies, got them excited about swimming the next day and then headed to bed. We gave them beach towels with their favorite animals on them (Rhiannon - dolphins, Sydney - penguins, Shelby - monkeys.)

On Friday we went to the pool and had a big girl potty party. After dinner, we went to the park.

And made some snacks. (Which by the way were really good.)

On Saturday we had Rhiannon's birthday camp out.

Unfortunately, it rained.

But we did get to have a fire to make s'mores and cook our hot dogs (ask me how many wiener jokes I heard on Saturday night...) and Rhiannon got to take her "Hey! Its my birthday!" picture with a hand full of fake bugs from her cake.

On Sunday we packed a picnic and headed to Homestead Days at the nature center. We got to feed animals
Play with period toys

And play in the old time school house.

Suddenly, the skies opened up so we headed to Uncle Marty's work for lunch and peanutty goodness.

Later that evening, Sydney and I started the pink shoe club (neither of us have cankles, I promise. This is a really bad picture.)

Which is of course an offshoot of the crocs club.

We ate our picnic in the living room while watching SpongeBob for the 9 millionth time this weekend. Oh, barnacles!

I will spare you the details of the all night Rock Band drunken foolishness (and I don't drink) and the "getting the band back together" reunion special the following night. Let's just say that Blitzkrieg Bop got pwned.
